Electronic Cover Letter
In today's job market, more and more people are relying on e-mail and online methods for cover letters. A cover letter is a quick description for a particular job position.
E-mail cover letters are different from traditional cover letters. You need to catch employers attention in the subject line and the top few lines.
E-mail cover letters should be straightforward to the point, and deliver your shining point to the employers.
For the person you address, you should do your best to find the person name. Putting HR manager is the second choice. Clearly state the job title you applied for and your qualification. In the closing paragraph, it is better to ask for a meeting (don't have to be an interview) to discuss your qualification and the job. Finally leave your cell phone number and indicate that your resume is attached.
